Time flies pretty, pretty quickly. Sadly, this is our last issue for this semester. This is why I would like to thank everyone who read MUT for the last couple of weeks. And most importantly, I would like to thank all the writers who submitted pieces into this slowly succeeding online student enterprise.
I said it before, and I will say it again. The writing talent in this college exists and it something that is worth appreciating. It is something that is often neglected and not praised enough. This is why I would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge the existing talent. All the writers should most certainly give themselves a well-deserved pat on the back.
Our last issue means that we are coming towards the end of the year, and yes, that means exams. I know. Trust me, you are not the only one who is also dreading it. I think we all are. Sure look, it must be done. This is the one way through which we can progress onto the next year. Don’t fret. There are always the repeats, because you have to remember: an exam can be re-taken but you can’t buy a healthy mind. So please, mind yourself around the time of this busy, busy exam season. You can do it! Here at MUT, we all have faith in you!
The end of year means that students are leaving the college. I suppose, the time can be taken to reflect about the time spent here. Hopefully, for most the time spend in Maynooth was joyous and – pardon the cheese – triumphant! That we leave this college with similes plastered on our faces. We must not forget, our futures are bright. Verily, they are. We all faced struggled during our time in college, and got stress about a magnitude of thing, but at the same time we get through the system. At the end of the day, perseverance is key. Gradually, we are making it.
Have a lovely summer. Hopefully, it will not rain for the whole duration. That would be just awful!
Read MU Times, support and share student media!
With warmest wishes,
P.S. Keep safe! Please remember: use protection. #Johnny’sGotYouCovered
