The Geography Society’s annual publication, Milieu is in the planning phases and we are currently seeking contributions from students, staff and alumni on all things geographical. Milieu is an annual magazine featuring articles written by Geography students and staff on various geographical topics.
This is a wonderful opportunity for students to have their work published. Submissions can vary from an original article on a geographical topic, to an academic assignment that you are proud of, to an article relating to the more social experience of being part of the Maynooth Geography family. Fieldtrip reports, especially with pictures, are welcomed as are geographically themed puzzles and other non-academic articles.
All students studying geography from first year undergraduate to final year post-graduate are encouraged to enter their articles to this year’s edition. It is open to all however, You don’t have to be studying geography to submit an article. Articles should be 500 – 1500 words and you can submit more than one piece. We also welcome team submissions.
The closing date for submissions is Wednesday 22 February 2017. If you are interested in submitting any work or have any questions about this year’s edition of Milieu please do not hesitate to contact the editorial team at firstname.lastname@example.org
